New pics of my IHF kids!

Again, so cute I can't stand it! A friend's daughter is corresponding with Arupe...who knows, in ten years maybe she'll be a sponsor herself! I haven't heard from them in a while, as they're moving, but I hope I can catch up on how it's going soon!

Letter from Sophia!

I love this little girl! She sounds like such a smart little cookie the way she writes - or maybe she's just buttering me up in hopes of scoring another direct package ;)

Pictures and letter from Thandiwe

This kid is so cute I can't stand it! I love that she brought her doll along with her - and someone put a hat on her. Too cute. I also love that her grandmother lets me know that Thandiwe's "baby" is doing well. They seem like such a nice family - they must be to have raised such a cheerful kid!

New pictures of Sophia

I requested family photos of Sophia's family when I saw that she had a new baby sister listed on her progress report. I finally got them today! Her reports also list an older brother - I guess he wasn't at home when the pictures were taken.

New pictures and letters from my IHF kids

These kids are so adorable it's nearly impossible to believe. Annah's letters are so sweet, and Arupe, as you can see, is the cutest little boy on the planet!

First, news from Compassion. Wituelle is fine (thank goodness), but her home was damaged in the earthquake. I'll have to see if Compassion has ways for sponsors to help with home repairs - since I'm just a correspondent and not Wituelle's actual sponsor, that might not be possible, but I'll find out.

I also got a letter from Jessa, in response to a letter I sent only a month ago! I wasn't expecting that. Maybe the turnaround is faster because there's no need for translation, but still, that's really quick.

How cute is she?!

Letter from Wituelle

This arrived with a note saying it was written pre-earthquake. I still haven't heard how she's doing, but I guess no news is good news...
